The heirloom oil painting above the fireplace looked too small for the space, and too tightly framed. I designed the new frame and liners to display the landscape to better advantage. For the walls, ceiling and trim, I selected the warmer colors, helped re-arrange the furniture groupings, and suggested the new fabric for the windowseat. The finished effect is balanced, open and welcoming, just as the homeowner requested. |

In the Dining Room, a new vibrant color palette in gold and orange enlivens the artwork and the surroundings. I consulted on the new picture frames and display of the paintings and art prints. |

The world travelers in this house have a stunning and diverse art collection. Fresh, bold paint colors stimulate our appreciation of the range of styles and the uniqueness of each piece. At the same time, I skillfully modulate the paint colors so as not to dominate or distract from the art. These clients are delighted with the rich new setting that augments their art appreciation; it’s dramatic and at the same time, grounding. |
